Handwriting is an important communication skill, even today's world of computer devices. My Best Handwriting is designed to make teaching handwriting easier and more systematic. The four books in this series progress from very rudimentary prewriting activities to proficient, contemporary cursive. In a very clear, progressive, and structured manner, students develop fine motor and visual-motor integration skills as they prepare to learn to write in manuscript, then, progress through precursive writing (also known as connected script), and finally learn to write in a clear widely-acceptable, cursive style. In all of the books, letters are learned in groups by how they are formed. For example, letters with ascending loops are learned at the same time.
