I printed this pdf. onto cardstock, cut out each card (there are 4 per page), hole-punched each one, and then put them onto 4 metal rings, one for each subject, resulting in 4 little booklets. On the shelf next to the booklets is a stack of paper printed with 1-inch grid squares.
This is now a simple, easy way for my children to progress through the stamp game without my having to continually write out the various types of problems. They use the cards this way:
*choose the stamp game *choose one of the 4 booklets (addition, subtraction, mult., or division) *choose the problem they want to solve, and write it down on the grid paper with pencil *work the problem, write down the answer, then check it (the answers are on the back of the cards) *put the game away or proceed to the next problem.
These cards can also be used with a younger child progressing through the golden beads.
