Meet Our Research Team


MICHELLE LEROUX

Michelle is a founding member of Alison's Montessori. Her passion and love of the Montessori method persuaded her to open up Alison's Montessori in 2006. She has her 6-9 and 9-12 Montessori certification through NAMC. Michelle home schools her four daughters (ages 9-14) using the Montessori method. She is one of those people who truly gets the Montessori method. She has contributed extensively towards creating materials for Alison's Montessori, her ideas and creativity have taken the company well beyond its expectations.


ROB KEYS

Rob Keys has been involved in Montessori Education for nearly 30 years as a teacher, administrator, consultant, teacher-educator, and presenter. He has presented at AMS National and Regional conferences, written for Montessori Life, and has served on MACTE and AISNE evaluation teams. Rob has been a teacher-trainer with Seacoast Center since it’s inception in 1992 and founded Beyond The Mountain, a non-profit organization providing material and training in Haiti. He has trained teachers at public and private schools in the United States, as well as South Korea and Indonesia.


SANDI KEYS

Sandi Keys is an experienced teacher and is a natural at inspiring her students. She has been a Montessori teacher for over 13 years. She has an Early Childhood Montessori Certification from Northeast Montessori Institute, and Elementary I and II Certification from The Seacoast Center for Education. Sandi earned a Master's Degree in Education from Endicott College, has designed Montessori materials for Alison's Montessori, and was a sales manager for Azoka Company.


SIMRAH HASAN

Simrah Hasan joined the Alison's Montessori Research staff in early 2012. She has since departed from Alison's, but we still continue to benefit from her research and contributions. Her research enabled us to create many new science products.She held a degree in Natural Sciences (Biology)


TAJUL IMAM

Tajul Imam, our graphic designer, has been the graphic designer at Alison’s Montessori since 2008. He is a professional painter  whose artwork has been displayed at many art galleries and exhibitions around the world. He is renowned for his illustrations for books and publications, murals, and advertisements. His extensive skill set includes production design, classroom design, 3D drawings, and hand-drawn illustrations. He was the cover designer at Taylor Publishing Company, a well-known schoolbook publisher. He was also the software interface designer for NASA before joining Alison’s Montessori. We have benefited from Tajul's work in many ways.


TERESA NOBLE

Teresa holds a Bachelor of Arts in Early Childhood Education and a Master of Education in Special Education from the University of South Carolina. Her Early Childhood Montessori Guide credential is from Montessori Education Programs, International. She is retired from the public schools of South Carolina, with 28 years of service, serving as Teacher of the Year of Laurens District 55 for the 1992-1993 school year. She has served as instructor and field supervisor for a variety of institutions, including Lander University. Today she serves as Program Director, Instructor, and Supervisor for The Institute for Guided Studies, headquartered in Camden, SC. She also does consultation and work for Montessori schools and early childhood programs.
