Check out our new math material, Number Counting! Space-effiencient and affordable, this extension can be presented after the classic Montessori material, Numbers and Counters. This material reinforces the concept of cardinality. Cardinality occurs when a child understand that the last number counted in a set tells how many objects there are in total. In addition to reinforcing cardinality, the Number Counting can reinforce and consolidate the concept of odd and even numbers. Each odd number isolates the last bead at the bottom.

Besides being a wonderful math extension math, Number Counting will provide your preschoolers with an additional opportunity to refine eye-hand coordination and fine motor skills.
