Great sand tray

This is a high quality Wood box. It comes with a red bottom and an extra blue bottom to slip in. Which is awesome if you want do vowels and consonants following the colors. I like that it comes with a piece to flatten it out after you have drawn in the sand or salt. It is a nice large size so that there is plenty of room for letter making or even patterning. Everything from Alison’s comes packaged very VERY well.

Perfect for our needs

It needed much less sand, or salt in our case, than I thought it would to be functional. The slider to clear your work didn't really end up being useful at all, it makes a mess. So we put that away and my daughter just gives the tray a gentle shake in between letters.
