Rings on a Rectangular Base follows the exercise Ring on a Horizontal Dowel. When demonstrating this exercise, exaggerate each movement by removing the ring slowly, and placing it on the working surface. The child absorbs each movement. Slowly re-insert the rings from the tip of the arch to its base without releasing it. Make sure that the child's view is not obstructed. Let the child practice and refine this movement, which aims to provide eye-hand coordination and wrist movement opportunities.
