Triangle Fractions - Triangles Fractions are used with elementary learners to demonstrate geometry concepts such as:

Triangle 1: Control
Triangle 2: Altitude, Vertex, Base
Triangle 3: Center, Bisector
Triangle 4: Median

Triangle Fractions can also be utilized to demonstrate that fractions are not simply fractional parts of a circle. Any shape, any whole that is divided into equal parts is a fraction. In this case, Triangle Fractions demonstrates various ways in which an equilateral triangle can be equally divided into 2, 3, or 4 equal parts forming smaller equilateral triangles, right-angled triangles, and isosceles triangles.

Our new set, Triangle Fractions Complete Set, aims to recruit children's interest in this simple yet crucial geometry material which lends itself in demonstrating greater geometry concepts later. The set consists of four metal plates on a sloped stand representing four identical equilateral triangles and corresponding 32 precut laminated Task Cards divided in three sections and stored in a box for your convenience.
