I have a four and six year old I tested this out on, also tried it with my eight year old nephew. I think it's great. It is sturdy and will last, and it's easy for kids to assemble on their own. An older kid was trying it, picked up the stomach and said, "I'm not sure what this is..." and my four year old called out "It's the stomach!" Ha, something is sinking in. I like that the heart has a flap that can pull back to see some inside construction. My only complaints would be the layer order of the organs is not exactly correct, and the esophagus tag has an o at the front of the word- the UK spelling doesn't apply to me. Otherwise great.
