Very Pleased December 12, 2017 Reviewer: Jacinta from Winchester, VA United States   My 1-yr-old son knocked this on the floor and it didn't break - yay! I presented this item to my 2.5-yr old son and it was successful. I look forward to using it in the future as we continue our geography studies. This item comes in three pieces: a wooden base, a steel pin, and a globe, and you connect the three pieces. The globe then spins on the pin. The sandpaper texture of the land masses stands out rather thickly from the smooth texture of the water. Very happy to have finally bought this item as I've been hoping to do so for a long time.
