Seems durable but it looks like the base is plywood which makes me wonder about the rest of the materials. Not heirloom quality but serves its purpose.

This sorter is what I was looking for to work with a one-year-old. The knobs are the right size for his hands; the colors are vibrant; the size gradations are good. Wish there was room to fit in a purple circle, but would not want anything smaller than the green one.
