There are seven basic units of measurement defined by the International System of Units (SI), which are called SI units. The seven units are meter, second, mole, ampere, kelvin, candela, and kilogram.
This knowledge is essential for young learners as they develop an early understanding that matter comes in many states and, therefore, requires different ways of measurement.
Basic Units of Measurement of Matter Puzzle has reversible parts with labels on one side and pictograms on the other, allowing children to self-assess their knowledge. The inner circle includes puzzle pieces representing each unit's abbreviation (kg, m, cd, mol, s, K, S). This set also comes with Research Cards containing age-appropriate vocabulary and real-life examples, along with a natural finish wooden box to hold the cards.
